Peter walked me through all the technicalilities of replacing my furnace, humidifier and thermostat. He was prompt, easy to reach, patient, and extremely accommodating. He put together a very competitive quote, but his dedication to customer experience won the bid. The install had a few complications (replaced an original system from 1978), but Jared was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took time to explain what he was doing, and my options at each step of the way. I will be using Home Guardian in the future for other projects, and I'd highly reccomend them to anyone with HVAC or electrical project needs.

1st time using thumbtack and glad to have found Home Guardian to repair my boiler system. Jerrod knows his stuff, is a good guy too. He went beyond the original scope of a pump replacement and cleaned up some of the piping which had corrosion or even small drips. Without charging more than the original quote despite it taking longer to complete. He was responsive in making sure the system worked properly after refilling with water. Besides Jerrod's attitude and work, I also appreciate that the price I paid for the pump and other materials was not marked up like some other companies do.

Pete, on the office end, and Jarrod, the technician, were both great to work with. Our furnace was barely producing any heat and we were in the middle of record cold temperatures. Jarrod made it out the same day I contacted them. He didn't try to sell us a new furnace (like another repair company did) and he quickly figured out what was wrong. He got the parts, completed the repair and also did a thorough cleaning, all for a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again when needed.
